How - To

Although I offer full custom framesets, I have four models as a starting point. Whether you know exactly what you want or if you are just browsing the latest and greatest, look at these models below. They range from road to mountain bikes and offer the solution to all of your bicycle needs. These geometries are just a starting point and, although available stock, feel free to contact me with any changes you feel fit and we can work to get you on the perfect bike. I have spent countless hours behind a computer and on the saddle to dial in these geometries as best I can, but everybody is different from riding style to fit and nobody knows your body better than you. These geometries are flexible and I am happy to tweak them to suit your needs and riding style.

This Frame was designed around my experiences growing up in the Oakland Hills where we have a lot of fast winding descents. This frame doesn't dive into turns or pull wide, It cuts through corners and goes exactly where you point it. A higher bottom bracket allows you to pedal through corners without concern of pedal strike and a short wheelbase adds to the sharp and predictable handling.

TOversized tubing provides a fantastic weight to stiffness ratio and translates into a strong climbing, fast descending road frame.

Designed around ENVE carbon fork

Whether you're looking for a way to spice up your road rides with some dirt or trying to get rad this winter, this cyclocross frame is a great fit. This frame handles tight turns and moderate terrain with ease. It is as much at home on fire trails as it is on the road and with clearance for (up to) a 2.0" tire it will take you down some gnarly mountain trails if you're up for it. If you're looking to add more off road terrain to your repertoire but want to stay fast on the road, this is the bike for you. Set it up with flat bars for the ultimate all weather commuter or tear it up at your local CX race in the drops.

The CX rig is a great foundation for all of your cycling adventures!

Available with Disc or Canti bosses

Dirt Touring

Colloquially known as the RatKing Coal, the dirt touring model is designed to be run with a mountain drivetrain and will clear a 700x2.4" tire and accommodations can be made for 650b+. This bike will take you wherever you legs can pedal. Although not quite a full blown "bikepacking" rig, this bike will take you clear through the Nebraska backroads with ease and still ride like a normal bike on the streets.  Take this bike camping on the weekends or cross the country fully loaded. It comes stock with all necessary braze ons for racks and fenders.

Designed around a 44mm Headtube and a custom "Type-Two" tapered steel fork in homage to the founders of modern mountain biking, Charlie Cunningham and Steve Potts.

  • Frames: Starting at $2200

Hard Tail Trail Bikes are a blast to make, however I prefer to build in batches for mountain bikes. Due to the dynamic stance, I believe custom geometries are fewer and farther between so I prefer to release batches of bikes at my discretion based on interest. If you are looking for a hardtail mountain bike, get in touch, I’ll add you to a list, and get in touch when I plan to release another run.

If, however, you find yourself needing a custom frame, or want to get wild, please get in touch.

Batch frames are priced on a sliding scale at the time of release.
