T - Rack
T - Rack
This Rack was designed in conjunction with several pals that love nothing more than to ride their bikes and get lost. The idea behind the T-Rack is to create a minimal, and light weight rear rack that can clear large tire formats while also bringing even more Triple Bottle Mounts to the bicycle.

This is the May Pre-Sale for the limited third run of RatKing T Racks. The T Rack is the first Production rack to incorporate the Triple bolt mounting standard to a bicycle rack. Since the first run we have cut the weight by 25%; making the long leg version (see below) weigh in at 335g without mounting hardware. To accomplish this, we have stripped all of the superfluous components to deliver an ultralight/minimalist rear rack. This rack comes equipped with two sets of triple bolt mounts; one on either side of the legs. This reduces weight in your carrying system by eliminating the need for bulky panniers while maintaining a modest carrying capacity. Pair it with the King Cage Manything Cages or the Anything Cages from Salsa to carry a half gallon of liquid on either side. Or, if you really need those side packs, check out the Pico Panniers from Outer Shell.
In the spirit of eliminating excess, we removed the cross brace from the top deck. This makes for a really nice cradle for a dry bag to sit in or a sturdy platform for a saddle bag to strap to. Wrapping a strap around the center works two fold in holding the bag down and straddling the bottom so it does not drop too far below the platform.
Long legs measure 15.25" from center of bolt hole to underside of rack bed:
This version is optimized as a saddle bag support so it sits a little higher above the tire. It is also the Best suited for large tire formats with lower bolt mounting positions.
Short Legs measure 13.5" from center of bolt hole to underside of rack bed:
This version is best suited for smaller wheel formats / tire sizes as well as dropouts with high bolt mounting positions (e.g. Salsa Alternator, Tumbleweed, most slider dropouts)
If you are unsure what size to get, take a quick measurement from the center of your mounting eyelet to the visual top of your tire and give yourself some mud clearance!
